We are beyond excited to be holding our first 'pot along' workshop Thursday 3rd May 7-9pm at Forest Deptford, (Arch 133 Deptford Market Yard, SE8 4NS) in and amongst the dense and dreamy foliage.
With spring officially sprung, your plants will start to enter into their active period, where they undertake their growth for the year, and it’s the optimum time start spending a little more time with your plants. In doing so you’ll be providing your plant’s with all they require to grow and develop happily and healthily, and maybe even flower.
In this workshop we’ll guide you through the basics of houseplant care including choosing the right plant, how and when to re-pot and teach you all about the benefits of doing so. We'll also cover the importance of a good watering routine, as well as how to multiply your plant collection by propagation.
But don’t worry, the evening won’t just be us talking at you, you’ll get your hands dirty by mixing your own potting medium suitable for cacti and succulents, you'll then get to repot a plant into a handmade thrown ceramic pot that you'll get to take home and nurture. But, that's not all, you'll get to take home the cuttings you've taken.
All you need will be provided, including refreshments. Please do bring along any cacti and succulents that need repotting (up to four). Forest have a beautiful range of pots that can be purchased for any additional plants you wish to pot up.
Tickets can be found in the shop and we look forward to seeing you there!
